Protecting the Integrity, Security and Authenticity of Electronically Sealed and Transmitted Documents
The sealing of professional engineering documents is a requirement under the Engineers and Geoscientists Act. Increasingly APEGBC professionals are applying an electronic version of their seal to professional documents and transmitting them electronically. APEGBC, Architectural Institute of BC (AIBC), Association of BC Forest Professionals (ABCFP), BC College of Applied Biology (CAB), Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of Alberta (APEGA), Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ), Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Manitoba (APEGM), as well as regulatory bodies in other professions across Canada have worked with one of the leading digital certificate services providers in North America (Notarius) to ensure that the authenticity, integrity and security of electronically sealed and transmitted engineering documents are protected in an appropriate fashion using a digital certificate.
This is a “must attend” if you want to learn more and participate in a demonstration of the electronic sealing and transmission of professional engineering documents in a secure fashion which has the following advantages:
- Meets APEGBC’s regulatory requirements;
- Saves time and money.
- Work more efficiently.
- Collaborate faster with team members and clients in different. geographical locations.
- Paperless so it supports sustainable/green practices.
- Eliminate achieved paper storage by using digital files.
