Time to Connect Land-use, Transit Policies

I was far from joking the other day when I responded on Twitter to one of the people who were part of the group that gathered at Vancouver city hall Tuesday to protest plans to increase density in some suburban neighbourhoods close to core of the city. In response to Jonathan Baker’s suggestion that this rather lacklustre protest was a “rebellion,” I suggested the group were “rebels for more bridges, highways and high housing prices.” More …
