Architectural Bicycle Tour
September 6, 2013
Cycling enthusiasts with an interest in architecture (or vice versa) are invited to sign up for the AIBC’s first ever Architectural Bicycle Tour. Knowledgeable guides will share a two-wheel perspective on the evolution of Vancouver’s built environment. The three-hour, 24-kilometre tour will explore portions of False Creek, Shaughnessy, Mt. Pleasant, Grandview, Strathcona and East Vancouver (click here to view a detailed map of the tour route). Riders must bring their own bicycle and helmet. It takes place Saturday, September 14, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., starting and ending at the Vancouver Salt Company building, 181 – 1st Avenue West. The cost is $15 per person, and space is limited. Send your r.s.v.p. to tours@aibc.ca. For more information, click to view the Architectural Bicycle Tour Flyer.
