Processing of CES Fines

In response to a question raised at the June 1 Annual Meeting, the membership is advised that:

• All cheques provided by members and associates to the AIBC as a result of fines imposed for non-compliance with the mandatory Continuing Education Systems requirements are systematically and readily processed.
• Over the course of more than 10 years of CES at the AIBC, CES fine payments by members or associates have occasionally been returned when it was determined such monies were not due, or the fine was waived owing to extenuating circumstances as described in Bulletin 80: Mandatory_Continuing_Education_System_ Rules_and_Guidelines.
