Anatomy of a Roof Failure (Victoria)

In this presentation, Registered Roof Observer John Wells of Wells Klein Consulting Group Inc. will discuss the premature failure of a new single-ply roof system on a high-end Victoria high-rise condo building, as well as the investigative processes that led to the conclusions for this failure. The roof failure resulted in interior water damage claims well in excess of $150,000 and the requirement of a replacement roof (costing well in excess of $100,000) on a building that was less than six months old. This presentation takes place Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 12:00 noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Harbour Towers, 345 Quebec Street, Victoria. To register, go online to Lunch will be provided.
