Renfro Lecture

The University of British Columbia’s Belkin Art Gallery invites you to attend a keynote lecture with Charles Renfro, speaking about the importance of the arts within considerations of city building and design, and urban planning. Renfro is a partner in the New York-based architectural firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro, celebrated for its efforts to integrate architecture, visual art and the performing arts to produce landmark buildings. Part of the 2013 Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies International Roundtable discussion series and presented in partnership with Emily Carr University of Art + Design, it takes place Friday, May 10, 6:30 p.m. at the Lecture Theatre – South Building, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, 1339 Johnston Street (Granville Island), Vancouver.
