Okanagan College Speaker Series: Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence
March 5, 2013
The next event in the Okanagan College Speaker Series will look at the Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence on the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College, a project of CEI Architecture Planning Interiors and one of the most water- and energy-efficient buildings in Western Canada. The talk will cover how the project evolved, how the building is performing relative to expectations, and what the future holds. Time and technology permitting, there will also be an online tour of the project’s energy and water consumption monitoring systems along with the automation control and mechanical system operations. Presenters include: Peter Csandl, manager of operations and energy systems at Okanagan College; Donna Lomas, regional dean for the South Okanagan Similkameen Region of Okanagan College; and Rob St. Onge, energy manager for Okanagan College. It happens Monday, March 11, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at the Okanagan College Penticton Campus Lecture Theatre, 583 Duncan Avenue, West Penticton. Admission is by donation.
