2013 IES Illumination Awards

Entries are invited for the Illuminating Engineering Society’s annual Illumination Awards. This international awards program, open to any qualified entrant without limitations as to professional affiliation, recognizes professionalism, ingenuity, and originality in lighting design. Award categories include:
- The Control Innovation Award – for lighting projects that exemplify the effective use of lighting controls in non-residential applications.
- The Edwin F. Guth Memorial Award – for interior lighting design
- The Paul Waterbury Award – for outdoor lighting design
- The Aileen Page Cutler Memorial Award – for residential lighting design
- The Energy and Environmental Design Award – recognizing quality lighting installations in commercial and industrial buildings that incorporate advanced energy-saving strategies and environmentally responsible solutions into the overall design.
Recipients will be chosen by a panel of judges representing a broad professional spectrum with knowledge of lighting and design. Submissions can be made online from Monday, January 7 to Thursday, February 7. For submission criteria and to enter, go to http://www.ies.org/.
