Women in Architecture

WIA Vancouver January Event Presenters
A January 2013 gathering of Women In Architecture Vancouver is being planned for the University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. The program for the evening will be a series of presentations on a range of different experiences and practices of architecture in Vancouver. This will also be a good opportunity to reach out to the student community. Thus, organizers are looking for approximately six women volunteers to each deliver a very brief (6-8 minutes each) presentation of their work. Ideally there will be a wide range of representation, from sole practitioners to partners of larger firms to employees working within a range of firm structures. The event will take place the evening of Tuesday January 15, 2013. If you are interested in being one of the presenters, contact Kate Gerson at germadd@telus.net.  Please include a brief description of your work situation. A selection process will be in place.  We look forward to your responses and your presentations.
