Dan White Retrospective

A retrospective on the work of the late former architect Daniel Evan White (1933-2012) is scheduled for exhibition at the Museum of Vancouver beginning October 2013. As a means of gathering more information on his career, particularly the early years, organizers are hoping to assemble a group of individuals who either worked with Dan or became familiar with his work through professional connections. An inaugural meeting will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the offices of Principle Architecture/ Daniel Evan White Studio, 1447 Hornby Street (at Pacific Avenue), Vancouver. Attendees will meet fellow colleagues and associates who are currently participating in the exhibition project with the hope of generating additional stories and filling in some of the present knowledge gaps. Substantial research material will be on display. Two-hour free street parking is available throughout the neighbourhood, and refreshments will be provided. We hope you are able to join us. You are also invited to visit the website (www.danielevanwhite.ca) and sign up to receive regular updates. Please r.s.v.p. to Martin Lewis mlewis@sala.ubc.ca or Greg Johnson Architect AIBC MRAIC P.Eng. LEED AP (gjohnson@sala.ubc.ca).
