Advisory: Fastnet Consultants

AIBC CES participants are advised that Fastnet Consultants (www.fastnetconsultants.ca) is not part of the AIBC’s Registered Educational Provider Program. Recently, Fastnet Consultants produced a promotional flyer for a one-day seminar entitled, “BC Building Code / VBBL Regulations and Administration.” The flyer indicates that this seminar offers, “Eligibility for professional development credit as per AIBC and APEGBC guidelines.” The AIBC wishes to advise its CES participants of this misleading language, as the institute has not pre-approved learning units for this event. Any interested AIBC CES participants may self-report this activity if desired. As with all self-reported activities, the institute will review each learning activity and assess the claimed learning units as appropriate.
