Role Call: Oral Reviewers

Are you an architect (MAIBC) interested in volunteering at the AIBC?  The institute is expanding its roster of oral reviewers and is looking for members interested in contributing to this important step in the registration process.  Oral reviews are held three times per year (February, June and October).  Oral reviewers make up the three-person review panel that assesses and evaluates a candidate’s ability to understand the practice of architecture and how it is carried out and regulated in British Columbia. Candidates include Intern Architects, broadly-experienced foreign architects and alternative qualifications candidates. Each person on the reviewers roster will be provided with complete training. Note: reviewers are entitle to  one self-reported non-core learning unit for each evening of attendance. Dinner is also provided. The next session of oral reviews is February 22 and 23, 2012.  If you would like to attend as an observer, or would like more information about the oral review process or the role of an oral reviewer, please contact Registration and Licensing Administration Assistant Emily Tyler at etyler@aibc.ca.
